The most inovative open-source license

Syncleus has developed a new family of licenses called The OSCL License. All of our projects try to use one of our OSCL Licenses, but we welcome the general public to use our licenses as well. The license comes in various types with varying levels of restrictions. we urge you to investigate each of our licenses closer so you can find the one that suits your needs.

We believe in open source software and the community. But we also understand that a single open source license isn't enough. For some purposes we may need more or less restriction. Many times a company or individual would like to release their source code bug find traditional open source licenses give away too many of their rights or restrict their own creation. By offering new and creative approaches to open source licenses we provide a way for companies to release their source in exactly the way they choose. Some of our licenses even offer a way to release code without being completely open by OSI standards. We feel that we would rather a company release code as partially open then not at all.
